What is your current/natural hair color?

Naturally I’m a dirty-blonde. But shhh, don’t tell. If my roots didn’t grow out at the end of every month, I probably wouldn’t remember. It’s been five years since I’ve rocked my natural hair. And even then, my hair was only an inch long so it hardly counts.

I change my hair quite a lot, so at the time of posting it is several different shades of purple and turquoise. But, I tend to bore easily, and a have a cupboard full of every dye color under the sun, so who knows what color it’ll be by the time you’re reading this.

What brands of hair dye do you recommend/ how can I dye my hair like you/ make it last?

I always use special effects USA brand. I buy it from here, or here. If the color you want is in stock, I suggest getting it quick, because retailers tend to go out of stock and stay out of stock for a while. Shades that are typically our of stock are my favorites; Deep Purple, and Bright as F%$ Yellow.

If you are looking for me to convince you to dye your hair a strange color, then Do it. No seriously. Get in your car and buy some bleach before you chicken out. Who cares if you regret it? It’s hair dye. You can dye over it. The way I see it, is one day you will be too old to rock strange hair, so you might as well do it while you can blame it on ‘youth and foolishness’ to your family and/or significant other.

Also; NO I won’t be offended if you dye your hair purple. I don’t have it trademarked or anything, haha. You don’t have to check in with me, I’m totally fine with it.

What Camera Do you Use? Do You Edit Your Pictures?

I use a Canon Rebel XT, but unfortunately I do not keep good care of my toys so it has a big water spot on the lens. That’s why some of my photos have a weird brown shadow (or a light blob as I’ve tried to make it less visible in my photo editor. You caught me!) I plan on one day taking it in for a right-thorough cleaning, but I’d rather be spending my money on great new products to review ;P.

As for editing my photos, I only do minor fixes, like upping the contrast. I’m a horrible photo-shopper, and though I’d like to remove the bump on my nose of make my chin look smaller, I try not to mess to much with my pictures. Just change the coloring and fixing the contrast.

My actual first name is Kimberley.  ‘KimmiKillZombie’ is my nickname, or online identity I-guess-you-could-call-it. I don’t mind being called either (or any variation of the two, really).

Are you Vegan or Vegetarian? Do you eat/Why don’t you eat [insert food item here]?

I’m vegan, and have been for about a year. Before that, I was a vegetarian for 3. That’s why a few of my older posts are for vegetarian diets and do contain some dairy and eggs. I’ve left the ones up that can be easily substituted with vegan items.

I’m at a place right now where I’m not guilty or ashamed about what I put in my body – which for me, meant eliminating all animal products, yes- even honey.

What Happened to KillerCosmetics/UvKITTY?

I’m currently taking  a hiatus from the cosmetics/hair world to take some time out and work on my career and entertaining the idea of going back to school. Running your own online business while trying to run an offline life can become really overwhelming, and I felt the break is what’s best for me right now.
