You’ve probably heard of Drop Dead Clothing. I’m probably just way out of the loop on this one. I don’t care. Any dress featuring Donuts In Space warrants a blog post.
As soon as I have a billion+ dollars, I plan on burning my wardrobe. And then burning some of that billion+ dollars because Drop Dead Clothing‘s prices are so reasonable.

I’m not quite sure yet if this has either encouraged or discouraged me to continue filling my (now sad, pathetic) kitchen with cupcakes. Actually, that’s a lie. Almost immediately after flickr stalking Gina’s kitchen, I ordered these christmas cupcake ornaments, and this cupcake handsoap from fredflare. I couldn’t stop myself!
I’m also now tempted to talk my landlord in letting me paint the kitchen. I’m sure future tenants will appreciate a little turquoise.

I don’t recall how I happened upon German indie company Fuchsteufelswild, but I immediately fell in love. Who wouldn’t? They’re DIY, Vegan-Friendly and Sweat-Shop-Free!

Sock It to Me is a great indie company I recently discovered, and they specialize in – you guessed it, SOCKS! But not just any sock- AMAZING SOCKS. They make and sell teh most unique prints, like 3D glasses (above), sushi, manatees, cupcakes, pigs, and even tighty whities!
I’m the proud owner of two pairs myself, the 3D glasses, and the cupcake print.
If you followed my on Twitter over the weekend, you’ll know I was busy at the Fan Expo in Toronto. While browsing through the exhibitor area, I stumbled across Akumu Ink, an indie t-shirt line. I had discovered Akumu a couple of years ago on the internet, but definitely fell in love with the newer designs and style. I purchased two tees, Death Before Dishonor (above), and Poisoned.
This Summer, why not take the Pastel nail trend to the extreme by giving yourself a dripping ice cream sundae manicure! A base coat of Vanilla, some gooey strawberry sauce, and sprinkles! Not too long ago, I plugged a really fun website where you can Get Grossed Out. I don’t know how I stumble upon these websites, but I inevitably end up spending at least an hour fine tuning these little Java graphics, until they’re just right — when I should probably be getting work done.

I can already hear the sounds of these things flying off Anime Convention shelves. All you need is a purr implant, and your life as a furry will be complete.

I’ll be the first to admit, my apartment is kind of a crap hole. We don’t live in the best neighbourhood, we don’t have the best neighbours, and we nearly froze to death (I may be exaggerating slightly) this winter.
But if I learned anything from Snow White; which I did, it’s that you sweep up the cobwebs, flick the grumps on the nose, and make do with what you’ve got.
And so I did.
We don’t have a lot of cash to spare on decor, but we’re lucky enough to have family members who are great gifters, are savvy goodwill rummage-rs, and are crafty when it counts.
