In a last-minute rush to find tips, ideas, and inspiration to decorate your place for Halloween? Maybe you’re having a last-minute party, or forgot to make a stop at the pumpkin patch this year. Well, you’ve come to the right place. Not all of us have the creativity, nor the time required for some of the elaborate set-ups I posted in my previous Halloween Decor Inspiration post, so this post is for you.
Here are some quick, and easily re-created decor with minimal cheese factor– with minimal glue-gunning required.

Enter Sir Scares A Lot. If you know anything about me, you know I love cheesy flash games and ‘designers’. I also love Halloween. Now I can merge my love of both by creating stencils for my Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns online!
Not only is there a cool selection of traditional andsilly face shapes (like eyes, noses, and mouths), but there is also a free-form carve and scratch tool, so those of you who are artistically inclined can completely design an intricate carving from scratch.
Once completed, you can then share your carving with friends, or print a stencil to re-create your Sir Scares A Lot on a real boy. pumpkin.
Enjoy!

There’s nothing more subtle and eerie on a Halloween night than a room lit entirely by candles. The creepy, dancing shadows they cast on the walls, the dim and wavering light…
Okay, mood set.
Here is a great, and easy craft that will give your Halloween decor a much needed finishing touch. So step away from the blacklight, unplug your motion activated ghost lamp that sings and dances to ‘Don’t Fear The Reaper’, and get get crafting. Tutorial below.

Okay, so the tombstones above are real. But you can easily re-create some realistic-looking tombstones with some Styrofoam and a little spray paint.
Ah, the glamorous past. I figured because I’ve been swirling in the styles of the 40′s this weekend, this week’s ‘AND THEN THIS HAPPENED‘ would not be complete without a touch of the sexism so prevalent in America’s Golden years.

You’ve heard about Wall Street. The good and the bad. At first, the news refused to recognize about it, the hundreds of people stationed out in the streets of New York, but those numbers quickly grew into the thousand, and now they can’t stop talking.
What you probably don’t know if that on October 15th, the protests are spreading. They’re coming to your city, to your state, to your country. And whether you think you agree with the protestors or not, all I ask is that you read my post, and learn what they’re about. You may find that you too have some views in common with the hippies down on wallstreet.

Have you been looking for the perfect handmade decor to set the scene for your Halloween display? Well look no further, as these translucent spectres from Martha Stewart are sure to scare! (Tutorial after the cut)
