ASK KKZ: How to Banish Dandruff

I have dandruff, do you know of any home remedies to cure it? Head and Shoulders doesn’t work. :(

Though dandruff is an embarrassing nuisance, it’s really nothing to be ashamed of. Dandruff affects as many as 40% of teenagers and adults, which makes it a pretty common ailment.

Dandruff occurs when dead skins cells shed too rapidly, which then clumps together and produces that visible, flaky white dandruff. The shedding of these cells is a normal process, which everyone’s scalp goes through. But several factors can put our skin on overdrive, and preventing this is what will stop the flaking.

As a little girl, many-a Sunday night was spent rolling foam curlers into my sister and I’s hair before school on Sunday. After hunting countless dollar stores over the years, I’ve yet to find the curlers that my sister and I coveted so much in our childhood. And with naturally straight hair, i find curls created from an iron fall limp and flat within hours.

So that’s why when I happened around this new tutorial, I was able to achieve flowing, natural curls overnight without heat, or even countless hours rolling 50 foam clips into my hair. All I needed was a little water, and a couple pairs of socks.
