It’s hot out, and it’s only going to get hotter. And while we shed our layers and don cute bikini’s, mini’s, and tanks, it’s important to be conscious of our skin. Sun exposure is the number one cause of melanoma, one of the most lethal cancer’s out there. And the majority of cases are preventable.
So while it’s great to get your Vitamin D on, letting harmful UVA and UVB rays penetrate your un-predicted skin is not so hot. Here are some amazing, MUST KNOW tips to keep your skin burn, and freaky-mole-free! [Read more...]

I posted picture recently my current hair color, which I achieved by dyeing is with L’Oreal Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look in #83, Golden Medium Blonde. This was my first experience with a Mousse dye, and it was quite interesting to work with. My Review is Below..

I don’t usually have foundation loyalty. I like to try different combinations and shades for different effects throughout the seasons and sun. I do typically keep L’Oreal’s Infallible Foundation in Classic Ivory on hand as it’s the closest to my natural shade, with pretty solid coverage, and it’s a lot easier than mixing my own hue. I had been meaning to pick up a new bottle when I had happened upon the Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation display. Not until researching this post did I realize there was a shade lighter than the 115 available (the 110 Porcelain), so I ended up picking the Ivory (115), that was quite darker than my skintone. Recently, I tried out the Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick. It was one of my first experiences with Covergirl lipsticks, and being pleasantly surprised, I headed out to check out their popular lip stain, the CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain. I picked up 440, in Wild Berry Wink. [Read more...]

Using accents of metal in your look is becoming a trend this Summer. Make up featuring shimmering gunmetal’s, silver foils and more are cropping up everywhere in Make-up Land.
I’m in the process of fading my hair dye. People who dye their hair frequently with vegetable semi-permanent dyes will be very familiar with this process. I’m trying to do a color oerhaul for the summer, but having dyed my over-processed hair Purple several times, it takes some serious TLC (in the form of home-remedies to remove hair dye), to get my hair faded enough to dye over. So needless to say, I am kind of over my hair at this point.
I have silver spots, I have pink spots, I have lavender spots, I have green streaks. I’m a mess.
So this is what I do with my hair when it’s a hot mess. Answer = Not much.
I was also testing out a a new CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain I purchased not to long ago. I’ll have a review up shortly.

You may have heard of Ke$ha. Whether it’s getting flak for showing up to the Grammy’s in a garbage bag, or sporting pyramid stud eyebrows, Ke$ha knows how to draw attention. She blew up with her first single, Tik Tok — which was played and remixed to death by local clubs and radio stations, to the point where the world wondered, ‘Is anyone actually a fan of Ke$ha?’

Recently, I created a Guide to Wearing Lipliner, where I focused on tips and tricks to master the undercoat. And now that you’ve mastered a steady line, and an even pout — you’re ready to try out the latest lipstick trends!

Remember the 90s? Yeah, me to. I think the 90s killed lip liner. You remember. White crop tops, jean jackets, flannel shirts on everyone, straight n’ stringy hair — and lip liner. And not just a little bit here and a little bit there. An outline. And what was it with everyone thinking their lip-liner color was mocha? I can honestly say I remember seeing more lip liner faux pas in the 90s than Furbys. And I owned 3.
Flash forward 10-15 years, and we’re still haunted by lip liner. We need to get over it. For the sake of crooked pouts, and small lips everywhere!
