…I’m not sure how you would go about doing this. If you want to combine pink and blue you’ll have a purple shade. Purples usually fade to a nice pink color, but blues typically fade into greentown.

Hi Kim, instead of using dark blue and light blue, is it possible to use blue then pink? So instead of fading into a lighter version of blue, it “fades” to pink instead? :D

Thanks so much for the tips. I’ve been dying my hair funky colors for over a year now and I’ve learnt that paying a salon doesn’t mean getting a good dye job. So I’ve been doing it myself and Im just getting the hang of it. By adding some of your tips I’m sure the colors will be more vibrant and last longer.

For sure you can! Manic panic is a semi-permanent color, so it doesn’t contain ammonia or peroxide. It also acts like a stain, so the longer you keep it in, the deeper it will penetrate the shafts of your hair. Avoid letting it ddry out though! Toss your hair in a shower cap or plastic bag to keep it moist. If you find your hair has dried out a bit after washing out, load up on conditioner and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.

I’ve been using manic panic for awhile to dye my hair green (and it actually, to my surprise, looks really good) and you said to leave it on for at least 2 hours… Isn’t that bad for the hair or should I do that?

HI KIM I HAVE NATURALLY DARK HAIR AND I WANNA TRY YOUR BLEACH BATH WHAT VOLUME SHOULD I USE 30-40 RITE NOW ITS A REDDISH BROWN COLOR MY HAIR.. HOW MUCH SHAMPOO DO I MIX IN WITH IT AND HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP IT IN FOR..SHOULD I DO THE BLEACH BATH WITH JUST SHAMPOO AN BLEACH OR SHOULD I ADD THE PERXOIDE IN WITH IT THANKS :)
